Appearing at a plea hearing, the indictees pleaded not guilty to all of the counts contained in the indictment.
The indictment, which was confirmed on August 7, alleges that Mladjenovic, former Commander, and Zivkovic, former member of the Territorial Defence in Bratunac, are charged with having participated in crimes against the non-Serb population in Hranca and Glogova, where several tens of civilians were killed, while their property was pillaged and set on fire.
They are charged with having ordered, committed, fostered and assisted in the murders, forcible disappearances, deportation or forcible resettlement of the population.
Mladjenovic was arrested on May 9 and Zivkovic on June 16. They have been held in custody since their arrest.
The trial is due to begin within the period of 30 or 60 days after the plea hearing.
