Bojadzic pleaded not guilty to all of the counts contained in the State Prosecution’s indictment, charging him with crimes against civilians and prisoners of war in the Jablanica area in 1993.

According to the charges, Bojadzic participated in the torture and inhumane treatment of Croat civilians and prisoners of war in the wartime hospital and other buildings in Jablanica.

The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina alleges that, in the second half of 1993 in Donja Jablanica the indictee shot a prisoner in his foot and fired several bullets towards another prisoner.

In addition, Bojadzic is charged with having told a prison in the corridor of a detention centre in “The Battle on Neretva Museum”: “Serb, I shall cut you head off” and ordered Croat prisoners to hit each other, while they were in a trench that belonged to the “Zulfikar” Special Squad Command in the Rogica kuce complex.

He is charged with having lined prisoners up in front of the “Zulfikar” Squad restaurant-kitchen and ordered them not to move, while grenades were exploding around them, and ordered guards to keep their rifles pointed to them.

This is the second indictment against Bojadzic for crimes committed in Jablanica.

Another trial for crimes in Jablanica before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina began earlier. He is also on trial for crimes committed in Trusina village, near Konjic, where 18 civilians and four members of the Croatian Defence Council, HVO were killed.

Bojadzic has been held in custody since November 2009.
