Zoran Djordjic, who testified at the trial recently, said that State Prosecution witness Dragan Djordjic did not personally see the murder of Milorad Kuljanin in Celebici detention camp, near Konjic in 1992.
During his testimony Dragan Djordjic described how indictee Macic killed Kuljanin in Celebici detention camp.
He ordered Kuljanin, who was wounded, to lie down in a puddle of urine in a sink, which prisoners used as lavatory. He kicked him with his military boots on his ribs and head. Also, he hit him with a gun butt. He then fired a short burst of bullets at him, said Dragan Djordjic.
Macic, former member of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is charged with crimes against Serb prisoners of war and civilians in Celebici detention camp. Among other things, he is charged with having beaten an elderly Serb civilian up, together with other unknown guards, in June 1992. The civilian allegedly died due to the beating.
Macic is charged with having treated civilians and prisoners of war, who were detained in Musala sports hall in Konjic, in an inhumane manner in March or April 1993.
The Defence of Macic, which completed the presentation of its evidence at the last hearing, did not object to the new witnesses proposed by Prosecutor Sanja Jukic.
The first three State Prosecution witnesses are due to be examined at the hearing scheduled for May 24.
