The State Prosecution suspects the Djelilbasic brothers of the murder of two Serb civilians, after learning that their brother had been killed in fighting with members of the Army of Republika Srpska (VRS).

According to the indictment, the Djelilbasic brothers, armed with automatic rifles, came to the house of Nedjeljko Kosca with the intent to kill citizens of Serb ethnicity in Turbe, and shot him 14 times in the back, once in the head and four times in his right hand.

The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina considers that after this murder, the indictees went to another Serb house, where they shot Bozo Katana in the head, heart and right hand.

As the indictment alleges, the indictees were then members of the so-called Turbe detachment, i.e. Third Battalion of 312th Motorized Brigade of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ABiH).

The Djelilbasic brothers are defending themselves at liberty, and the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed the indictment against them in December 2011.

Zoran Bozic, Judge for the preliminary hearing, said that this case will be forwarded to the Trial Council, which will schedule the beginning of the trial within 30 to 60 days.
