Suspect for Sanski Most Crimes Arrested

Acting on an order by the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) arrested Predrag Prosic, on suspicion that he participated in crimes in the Sanski Most area.

The State Prosecution suspects Predrag Prosic, called ‘Pedo’ that as a member of the Sixth Sana’s Brigade of the Army of Republika Srpska (VRS), committed the criminal offence of crimes against humanity.

Prosic is suspected that, together with other members of the Brigade, participated in the unlawful search of homes and buildings and murders and detention of civilians in settlements of Mahala and Muhici, but also in other settlements in the Sanski Most area in May 1992.

The suspect will be handed over to The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina where he will be interrogated, after which the Prosecution will decide on the initiation of a proposal for his remaining in custody.
