Pursuant to the guilt admission agreement signed between indictees Malenica and Muracevic and the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a six-month conditional sentence can be pronounced in their case.

“In regard to the agreement between Krunislav Malenica and the Prosecution, the parties have agreed upon a six-month imprisonment sentence, which will not be executed unless the indictees commit another crime within the next two years,” judge Hasija Masovic explained.

Malenica, Editor-in-Chief of “Bum” magazine, and Muracevic, a journalist with that magazine, are indicted with having revealed information about a protected witness twice, although they knew, when they published the articles, that other media stations and information agencies had not revealed her identity.

During the part of the hearing that was closed to the public, the State Prosecution presented evidence against the indictees.

The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina requested the Court to exclude the public from that part of the hearing, because the evidence referred to a witness, who was granted protection measures by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
