Local Justice: Custody for Ranko Boljak Ordered

As per a proposal made by the Cantonal Prosecution, the Sarajevo Cantonal Court orders custody for Ranko Boljak, who is suspected of crimes in Sarajevo.

The Cantonal Court ordered the one-month custody for Boljak due to a danger that he might flee.

The Sarajevo Cantonal Prosecution suspects Boljak, former member of the Republika Srpska Army, VRS, of having tortured, abused and mentally mistreated civilians in Ilidza municipality, Sarajevo.

Suspect Boljak was arrested in Eastern Ilidza municipality on October 19, 2011.
