The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina charges Gazdic, former member of the Republika Srpska Army, VRS, with having treated Bosniak women, who were unlawfully held in the “Partizan” sports hall in Foca, in an inhumane manner from the beginning of April 1992 to the end of March 1993.

The State Prosecution’s indictment alleges that Gazdic used to come to apartments and “Partizan” sports hall, where the civilians were held, and took female persons, including minor girls, away.

Under the indictment, Gazdic is charged with having raped two female persons, while threatening them with fire arms, and enabled other persons to rape them.

Gazdic has been held in custody since April 21 this year, after being arrested at Klobuk international border crossing.
