The state court ruled that Srpko Pustivuk, a special policeman with the PSS who was arrested by the State Investigation and Protection Agency, SIPA, on July 13, may be held in custody for a maximum of three years.

The indictment alleges that during May and June 1992, Pustivuk and other members of the army and police of the Serbian Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina participated in an attack against civilians in Gornja Bioca village in the Ilijas municipality.

Prosecutors allege that children were among the civilians. One person was allegedly killed during the attack.

Pustivuk, known as Srle, is also charged with having participated in the arrests of Bosniak civilians who were then taken to detention camps and other detention centres.
