Having introduced about 80 documents and included them in the case file, the State Prosecution completed its evidence presentation at the trial of Radomir Vukovic and Zoran Tomic, who are charged with genocide committed in Srebrenica in July 1995.
The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina charges Vukovic and Tomic, as members of the Second Special Police Squad, with participation, on July 13, 1995, in the capture, detention and murder of more than 1,000 men in the Agricultural Cooperative in Kravica village in Bratunac Municipality.
Before presenting evidence, Prosecutor Ibro Bulic said that he had given up on presenting a large amount of material evidence which had originally been proposed in the indictment, but he did not provide any detailed explanation for this.
Introducing the material evidence, the Prosecution did not explain the relevance of individual items since, as he explained, detailed explanations had already been submitted to the Defence and the Trial Chamber in tabulated form.
Among the pieces of evidence in the case file are regular military reports issued by the Republika Srpska Army, VRS, in July 1995, and documents issued by the Second Special Police Squad, such as a list of Squad members and a security situation report.
In addition, the Prosecution presented reports on evidence found in the Agricultural Cooperative in Kravica, reports on exhumations from Glogova 1 and 2 and Zeleni jadar mass graves and photographs taken in Sandici, and photographs of bodies lying in front of the warehouse in Kravica taken on July 13, 1995.
At the next hearing, due to take place on May 4, court medical expert Vedo Tuco is expected to testify for the Prosecution.
