The continuation of the trial of Ratko Bundalo, Nedjo Zeljaja and Djordjislav Askraba has been postponed until July 15, because the first indictee is sick.

The Trial Chamber announced that it received a letter from the medical doctor, who works in the Detention Unit in which Bundalo is held, which indicated that the indictee still claimed to have feelings of pain, despite treatment, and that he needed to undergo a more detailed medical examination.

Bundalo, Zeljaja and Askraba are charged with having participated in the murder, forcible detention, rape, forced disappearances and extermination, as well as physical and mental abuse of Bosniaks from the Kalinovik area committed in 1992 and 1993.

At the hearing, which has now been postponed, the Prosecution intended to examine its two witnesses, while the Defence was due to cross-examine a Prosecution witness, who testified at the previous hearing.
