Genocide in BiH

Testifying for the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, former members of a working squad with the Republika Srpska Army say that indictee Slavko Peric ordered them to load bodies of Srebrenica residents killed in the Cultural Center in Pilica onto trucks.

A former cashier with the Zvornik Brigade recalls how members of his unit invited him to take part in the shooting of men who were detained in the school building in Orahovac.

During cross-examination a Prosecution witness denies that the First Battalion with the Zvornik Brigade escorted, guarded and killed detainees in Pilica.

At a status conference, the Trial Chamber of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina determines that the trial for genocide committed in Srebrenica will begin on March 10. At a status conference concerning the case of Momir Pelemis and Slavko Peric, former members of the Zvornik Brigade with the Republika Srpska Army, VRS, the Trial Chamber announced that "the indictment will be read and the two parties will present their introductory arguments" on March 10.

The State Court allows the defence teams of Momir Pelemis and Slavko Peric to take extra time to study the court documentation and prepare for the plea hearing "in a professional manner".
