The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has rejected Vlastimir Golijan’s admission of guilt for participation in genocide committed in Srebrenica in July 1995, because the indictee does not understand the meaning of the crime with which he is charged.

Testifying for the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, former members of a working squad with the Republika Srpska Army say that indictee Slavko Peric ordered them to load bodies of Srebrenica residents killed in the Cultural Center in Pilica onto trucks.

23. February 2009.
At a status conference, the Trial Chamber of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina determines that the trial for genocide committed in Srebrenica will begin on March 10. At a status conference concerning the case of Momir Pelemis and Slavko Peric, former members of the Zvornik Brigade with the Republika Srpska Army, VRS, the Trial Chamber announced that "the indictment will be read and the two parties will present their introductory arguments" on March 10.
