At the beginning of presentation of his closing statement Prosecutor Alan Tieger says that former Republika Srpska President Radovan Karadzic, who is charged with genocide and other crimes in Bosnia and Herzegovina, BiH, is a liar and mafioso.

Presenting his closing statement, Prosecutor Alan Tieger says that a thesis by Radovan Karadzics Defence that Karadzic insisted on respecting all rights and measures for preventing crimes during the war was an empty gesture.

The Sense news agency, which covers war crimes trials, opened the new archive of case documents, witness testimonies and forensic evidence at the Srebrenica genocide memorial centre in Potocari.

The State Investigation and Protection Agency arrested former Serb policemen Miodrag Josipovic and Branimir Tesic on suspicion that they assisted the commission of genocide in July 1995.

The Hague prosecution asked the Tribunal to allow it to reopen its evidence presentation process in Bosnian Serb military chief Ratko Mladics trial, so it can present the judges with forensic evidence from a mass grave at Tomasica near Prijedor, which was discovered last year.

Testifying in defence of Ratko Mladic, former Serb policeman Nenad Deronjic rejects, as a lie, an allegation by key Prosecution witness Momir Nikolic, who said that he was present, when the indictee made a gesture, indicating that all Muslim captives from Srebrenica would be killed.

As Ratko Mladics trial continues before The Hague Tribunal, Defence witness Veselinko Simovic says that he would put some of the Serbs, who were sentenced for crimes in Foca, on an electric chair.

As the Defence of Ratko Mladic continues presenting evidence, witness Zoran Nikolic says that, during the war he did not know about crimes against Muslims and sexual violence against Muslim women in that town.

Former chief of the Center for Public Safety in Zvornik told the Srebrenica genocide trial that he did not know any units were formed after Goran Saric's orders.
