The trial of Goran Saric, who is charged with genocide in Srebrenica in July 1995, begins with reading of the indictment and presentation of introductory statements by the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Defence.


5. November 2013.
As decided at a status conference held before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Goran Saric’s trial for genocide in Srebrenica in July 1995 is due to begin with the reading of the indictment and presentation of introductory statements on November 19.


11. October 2013.
On Friday, October 18 Goran Saric, who is charged with having participated in genocide in Srebrenica in July 1995, is due to appear before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and enter his plea on Friday, October 18. On that same day a pre-trial status conference is due to be held in the case against Nedzad Hodzic and Dzevad Salcin, who are charged with crimes on Mountain Igman.


30. August 2013.
After having been arrested on Thursday, August 29 and examined in the premises of the State Investigation and Protection Agency, SIPA, due to a suspicion that he committed genocide in Srebrenica in 1995, Goran Saric was released under prohibiting measures on that same day, the State Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirms.
