A protected defense witness at the Dzevad Salcin trial offered an alibi for Salcin, with regards to charges that he cut off the ear of prisoner Dragan Vukovic on Mount Igman in May 1993.

Edina Residovic, the defense attorney of Nihad Bojadzic continued presenting her closing statement as the trial against Bojadzic and four other former Bosniak fighters comes to a close.

On the third day of closing statements, defense attorney Vasvija Vidovic said there was no written order which demonstrated that her client, Nihad Bojadzic, had commanded an attack on the village of Trusina in the municipality of Konjic.

During the first day of closing statements in the trial of five former Bosnian Army soldiers, Nihad Bojadzics defense attorney described what she perceived to be irregularities in the trial. Bojadzic and others have been charged with war crimes in Trusina, in the municipality of Konjic.

Defense witnesses testifying at the Dzevad Salcin trial said that Salcin was in the villages of Dreznica and Memidzani in May 1993, along with other members of the Zulfikar Unit of the Bosnian Army.

Presenting its closing statements, the defense of Nedzad Hodzic asked the trial chamber to discontinue its proceedings against Hodzic, due to his poor mental health.

At todays hearing of the Dzevad Salcin trial, defense witnesses said that Salcin was in the village of Grabovci in Konjic in April and May 1993 - the time period when his alleged crimes took place on Mount Igman in Hadzici.

The defense of Senad Hakalovic requested a verdict of release.

Presenting its closing statement, Senad Hakalovics defense said Hakalovic should be acquitted of the charges brought against him.

In its closing arguments, Dzevad Salcins defense requested that the court find the defendant not guilty.
