During the trial of Radovan Karadzic, Hague Tribunal prosecutors play a video recording made in the summer of 1994, depicting Ratko Mladic, Commander of the Republika Srpska Army, VRS, saying that the VRS defeated Bosniaks in Podrinje and that they would have disappeared from the area had they not been protected by UNPROFOR in Srebrenica.

British Officer Pyers Tucker testifies at the trial of Radovan Karadzic at The Hague and says that the Republika Srpska Army, VRS conducted an ethnic cleansing campaign against the non-Serb population in the Srebrenica surroundings in March 1993.

Two verdicts of genocide have already been pronounced for the slaughter of around 8,,000 men in Srebrenica in 1995. If Milorad Trbic is convicted of the same high crime, it will be a third.

The Trial Chamber renders a decision to include the indictment against Milorad Trbic filed in the USA, where he was arrested, as evidence in this case.

The Defence of Milorad Trbic will propose that transcripts of Vinko Pandurevic's testimony be included as evidence, after the ICTY indictee refused to appear before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
