Two Defence witnesses say at the trial for genocide in Srebrenica, that as far as they know, Bozidar Kuvelja is a well-raised guy and that they have never heard that he did anything bad during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During a status conference, held as part of the trial of Bozidar Kuvelja for genocide in Srebrenica, the Defence asks the Court to postpone the trial until April 17 this year, because it can not make sure that witnesses will appear.

Witness KB-117, former member of the Jahorina Training Centre with the Special Brigade of Republika Srpska, RS police, said that he was passing by the Kravica hangar and saw indictee Kuvelja shooting at people's bodies.

Testifying at the trial of Bozidar Kuvelja, who is indicted for genocide in Srebrenica, a Defence witness says that he found out that the unit to which the indictee belonged was present in the Srebrenica area in 1995.

Testifying at the trial for genocide in Srebrenica, a protected Defence witness says that a group of captured Bosniaks was killed in an all-out shooting in front of the Agricultural Co-operative in Kravica, Bratunac municipality in mid July 1995.

During a status conference held before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina the Defence of Bozidar Kuvelja, who is charged with genocide in Srebrenica, says that it will examine four witnesses and the indictee and present 56 pieces of material evidence. The Defence is due to begin presenting its evidence in February.

The Trial Chamber of the State Court has postponed the trial of Bozidar Kuvelja, who is charged with genocide in Srebrenica, explaining that a legal counselor has to be appointed for a protected Prosecution witness, who was due to be examined at this hearing.

At the continuation of the trial of Bozidar Kuvelja, indicted for genocide in Srebrenica, Vedo Tuco, a forensic expert, spoke about the graves in that area, bringing them into connection with the murders in Kravica.

The Trial Chamber of the State Court postpones the examination of a protected Prosecution witness until October 25, 2011, due to fears that the witness may be incriminated.
