The presentation of evidence at the trial of Veselko and Ivo Raguz, who are charged with crimes in Stolac and Capljina, has been completed after almost two years.

During the continuation of the trial for crimes in Stolac and Capljina three Defence witnesses say that indictee Veselko Raguz did not issue an order to disarm Bosniak soldiers, who were members of the Croatian Defence Council, HVO, at the time.

At the trial of eight Bosniaks for allegedly abusing Serb prisoners at detention camps in Hadzici near Sarajevo, a witness said he was locked up in a school, beaten and humiliated.

During the continuation of the trial for crimes in Stolac and Capljina, a Defence witness says that Kostana Hospital, where men were held in detention, was not in the zone of responsibility of the unit commanded by indictee Veselko Raguz, i.e. the Fourth Battalion with Knez Domagoj Brigade of the Croatian Defence Council, HVO.

As the trial for crimes in Bratunac continues, two State Prosecution witnesses say that they saw indictee Najdan Mladjenovic, whose face was covered with a stocking, among a group of soldiers in Glogova village on May 9, 1992.

Three State Prosecution witnesses have refused to come to the trial of Veselko and Ivo Raguz, who are charged with crimes in Stolac and Capljina.

Testifying at the trial of Ivo and Veselko Raguz for crimes in Stolac and Capljina, expert witnesses say that protected witness CD is not capable of testifying at this trial due to her mental state.
13. September 2012.
A hearing in the case against Veselko Raguz and Ivo Raguz, former members of the Croatian Defence Council, HVO, who are charged with crimes in Capljina and Stolac in the summer of 1993, has been postponed due to the absence of one of the Defence attorneys.

The Trial Chamber sitting in the case of Dragan Neskovic and Zoran Ilic, who are charged with crimes against Srebrenica residents, did not accept a proposal for the examination of three additional State Prosecution witnesses.

A State Prosecution witness, who testifies at the trial for crimes in Stolac and Capljina, has changed his statement completely, saying that it is not true that detainees were transported to the Kostana hospital as per an order issued by indictee Veselko Raguz.
