Meddzida Kreso, President of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, says that, from the very beginning the Court has advocated for treating war-crimes and organised crimes cases as public interest cases, but the Agency for Protection of Personal Data of Bosnia and Herzegovina insisted on an opposite stand.

Petar Kovacevic, the Director of the Agency for the Protection of Personal Data of Bosnia and Herzegovina, considers that the anonymisation of war crimes cases is not in accordance with the opinion which the Agency submitted to the state judicial institutions in early 2012.

Indictments filed by the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina are no longer available as public documents and no one else, except the parties to the proceedings, has access to them any longer due to a decision rendered by the Agency for Protection of Personal Information of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Boris Grubesic, Spokesperson of the Prosecution, confirmed to us.
