The Bosnian state court rejected proposals by the state prosecution and Martin Barukcic’s defense to allow the examination of additional witnesses. Today’s hearing closed the presentation of evidence at the trial of Marijan Brnjic, Martin Barukcic, Pavo and Ilija Glavas, charged with war crimes in the Odzak area.

The Bosnian state court has terminated custody measures for Pavo Glavas, who is charged with having committed rape in the Odzak area.

Testifying in his own defense, Pavo Glavas said he was working in Switzerland in May and June 1992, the dates of his alleged rapes in Odzak. He presented material evidence to support this claim.

Testifying in his own defense, Martin Barukcic said he was on the island of Vir in Croatia at the beginning of June 1992, the time period of his alleged rapes in Odzak.
