Bosnia’s Constitutional Court rejected an appeal from former Bosnian Serb Army serviceman Dragan Marinkovic, who was sentenced to eight years in prison for his involvement in the killings of two Bosniak civilians in 1992. The Bosnian Constitutional Court has dismissed as unfounded Dragan Marinkovic’s appeal against his conviction for committing crimes against humanity in the village of Zutica in the Milici municipality of eastern Bosnia in 1992.

The Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina repealed a portion of the verdict in the Velibor Bogdanovic trial, specifically the section on the application of law. After this decision, the prosecution and the defense presented their appeals related to Bogdanovic’s sentencing at the appeals chamber of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
