Police arrested Dusan Spasojevic, a former Serb Territoral Defence fighter, who has been charged with committing a war crimes against a Bosniak civilian in the village of Jusici in May 1992 Bosnia’s State Investigation and Protection Agency on Monday arrested Dusan Spasojevic, who is suspected of committing crimes against the civilian population in the Zvornik area in 1992. “He has been charged with committing war crime against a Bosniak victim in the village of Jusici in May 1992 in his capacity as a member of the Territorial Defecse of the Serb Municipality of Zvornik,” the state prosecution said in a statement.

Former Bosnian Serb Army soldiers Cvijan Tomanic and Sreco Kandic are accused of committing violent crimes against Bosniaks and ethnic Albanians in the village of Glumina, near Zvornik, in 1992. Bosnia’s State Investigation and Protection Agency arrested Cvijan Tomanic and Sreco Kandic in Zvornik on Tuesday for alleged wartime crimes against Bosniak and ethnic Albanian civilians.

Former Bosnian Serb serviceman Dalibor Maksimovic is accused of the killing of four Bosniak civilians in Zvornik in 1992. The Bosnian state court on Thursday confirmed the indictment of Dalibor Maksimovic, a former member of the Milici Terrritorial Defence force, who is charged with killing four Bosniaks in April 1992.

A witness told the trial of former Serbian security chiefs Jovica Stanisic and Franko Simatovic that Serb paramilitary forces led by the notorious Arkan murdered Bosniaks in Zvornik in April 1992. A protected prosecution witness codenamed RFJ-019 testified at the trial of Jovica Stanisic and Franko Simatovic at the Mechanism for International Criminal Tribunals in The Hague on Thursday that she was told that Zeljko Raznatovic, alias Arkan, led the fighters who killed Bosniak civilians in Zvornik in April 1992.

Female ex-soldier Elfeta Veseli and former Bosnian Army unit commander Sakib Halilovic were charged with involvement in the killing of a 12-year old Serb boy in the Zvornik municipality in 1992. The Bosnian state court on Thursday confirmed the indictments of Elfeta Veseli and Sakib Halilovic, charging them with committing war crimes against the civilian population in the north-eastern Zvornik municipality in the summer of 1992.

A prosecution witness at the trial of Jovan Tintor for crimes against humanity in Vogosca said the defendant threatened to kill all the Bosniaks in the area in May 1992. Prosecution witness Bilal Hasanovic, the former president of the Vogosca Municipal Assembly, told the state court in Sarajevo on Monday that in May 1992, Tintor, who was the head of the Serb Crisis Committee in the area at the time, threatened to “kill all your people in Vogosca”.

Swiss police have arrested Elfeta Veseli, a female former Bosnian Army soldier who is suspected of murdering a 12-year-old Serb boy in the Zvornik area in 1992. The Bosnian state prosecution said on Thursday that 56-year-old former Bosnian Army member Elfeta Veseli has been arrested in the Neuchatel canton in western Switzerland and that extradition proceedings will begin soon.
