At the trial for genocide in Srebrenica a former member of the Tenth Reconnaissance Squad with the Republika Srpska Army, VRS, who testified in defence of the first indictee, says that, in July 1995, as per an order issued by Miso Pelemis, a group of soldiers was taken to Branjevo farm, near Zvornik, where they killed between 600 and 700 prisoners.

Petko Panic, former Assistant Commander of the reserve police in Zvornik, says at the trial of Radovan Karadzic that Serb forces deported and killed Bosniak civilians in that town in the spring and summer of 1992.

In its closing statement the Defence of Momir Pelemis says that the Prosecution has not proved the indictee's guilt, calling on the Court to acquit him of the charges that he committed genocide in Srebrenica.

The Srebrenica genocide indictment against Momir Pelemis is too widely formulated and represents a trap, aimed at assigning as much guilt as possible to the accused, said Pelemiss defense in their closing arguments.

Protected witness KDZ 340, former member of the Territorial Defence of Bosnian Serbs in Zvornik, says at the trial of Radovan Karadzic that, in April 1992 all residents of that town were aware that the war was breaking out, adding that Bosniak and Serb families fled to the other side of River Drina because of that, and not because they were forced to do so.

The trial of Radovan Karadzic continues with the cross-examination of a protected witness, former member of the Serbian Democratic Party in Zvornik, who says before The Hague Tribunal that local authorities were powerless when dealing with paramilitary formations, which were formed in Bijeljina and Zvornik in 1992.

Testifying at the trial for genocide in Srebrenica, a protected Prosecution witness says that he participated in the shooting of prisoners on Branjevo military farm together with indictees Franc Kos, Stanko Kojic, Vlastimir Golijan and Zoran Goronja.

The Israeli Court approves the extradition of Aleksandar Cvetkovic, former member of the Tenth Reconnaissance Squad with the Republika Srpska Army, VRS, who is suspected of having participated in genocide in Srebrenica in 1995.

Several hundred people gather at a local cemetery in Snagovo, near Zvornik for a joint burial of 35 civilians who were killed in late April 1992.

The presentation of evidence at the trial of Momir Pelemis and Slavko Peric, who are charged with genocide in Srebrenica, has been completed with the presentation of supplementary findings and opinion by a Defence expert witness.
