Mourners laid flowers at the site of a wartime massacre at the Markale market in Sarajevo, where 43 people died in an artillery attack by Bosnian Serb forces in August 1995. The 24th anniversary of the massacre at the Markale market in Sarajevo was marked on Wednesday with a minute’s silence and the reading of the names of the 43 Sarajevo residents who were killed there on August 28, 1995.
