After months spent in custody and years spent on trial, some indictees were however pronounced not guilty of war crimes. They are trying to live a normal life again, but say that the trial took a part of their life and that it cannot be forgotten.

The Livno Cantonal Court has ordered one-month custody for Ivo Cicak, also known as Pendekov, due to a suspicion that he committed war crimes against prisoners of war.

During May and June 2013 the Livno Cantonal Court will stop processing criminal cases in order to arrange a premises for protected witnesses and a courtroom, where war crimes trials as well as other trials, will be held.

The Presentation of evidence at the trial of Ratko Dronjak, who is charged with crimes in Drvar, has been completed with examination of two last Defence witnesses. The presentation of State Prosecutions closing statement is scheduled for May 10.

The Supreme Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, FBiH, has confirmed the verdict under which Stipo Zulj was acquitted of charges for war crimes committed in the Kupres area.

While courts promise to deploy more resources, victims have doubts, noting the inactivity of the judiciary in the area over the past 15 years.

The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina files an indictment against a policeman from Kupres charged with unlawfully killing a wounded enemy in November 1994. Stipe Zulj, a former member of the Special Police forces with the Police Department in Livno of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the former Croatian Community of Herceg-Bosna, is charged with having killed a member of "enemy forces" in Olovo village, Kupres Municipality, on November 3, 1994.
