A witness at the trial of Mirko Vrucinic says Serbs separated group of Bosniaks on the bridge and took them away, never to be seen again Testifying at the trial of Mirko Vrucinic for crimes in the Sanski Most area, a prosecution witness said a group of between 20 and 30 Bosniaks who “are not alive today” were separated from the others at Vrhpoljski bridge and taken away.

The UN court in The Hague found Serbian Radical Party leader Vojislav Seselj not guilty of crimes against humanity including murder, persecution and expulsions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia.

Testifying at the trial of three witnesses charged with crimes in Srebrenik, defense witnesses said they didn’t see defendant Sejdalija Covic on the premises of the local community in Rapatnica, where Serbs were detained.

An expert witness testified for the prosecution at the trial of Mile Puljic, charged with crimes in Mostar. The witness said he drew upon reports issued by the Intelligence and Security Service (OSA) of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) when discussing the defendant’s zone of responsibility in his findings.

An expert witness for the prosecution was cross-examined by the defense at the Mile Puljic trial. Puljic’s defense argued that there was no document indicating that Santiceva Street in Mostar was within the zone of responsibility of the unit commanded by Puljic.

State court appeals judge Tihomir Lukes said he stood by the decision issued by the appeals chamber in the case of Ramo Brkic, who was charged with drug trafficking and abuse of power. Lukes testified for the prosecution in the trial of state court judge Azra Miletic and co-defendant Ramo Brkic.

After three failed open calls for applications and nine months of waiting, the Bosnian High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) has yet to elect a new state level judge. According to the HJPC, no good candidates applied.
