Bosnian Croat Ex-Fighter Charged with Torture, Abuse
Former Croatian Defence Council fighter Goran Pavkovic was charged with torturing and abusing Bosniak detainees in the Prozor area in 1993.
The Bosnian state prosecution filed an indictment against Goran Pavkovic on Tuesday, alleging that he committed war crimes in the Prozor area in 1993.

The prosecution alleged that former Croatian Defence Council member Pavkovic treated Bosniak detainees inhumanely and was involved torturing them.
“Pavkovic participated, as an accomplice, in the torture and abuse of a group of captured Bosniak civilians,” the prosecution said in a statement.
“They were abused during their examination at the fire station in Prozor. The unlawfully detained civilians were beaten with an electric baton, hit and kicked,” it added.
The indictment has been sent to the state court for confirmation.
