Three New Trials Begin Next Week

On Wednesday, February 18, the trial of Enes Curic, Ibrahim Demirovic, Samir Kreso, Habib Copelj, and Mehmed Kaminic will begin. The defendants are accused of crimes committed in the Mostar area in 1993.
The trial of Mato Condric also begins on Wednesday, February 18. Condric is charged with crimes committed in the Bosanski Brod area in the summer of 1992.
On Friday, February 20, the trial of Novak Mitrovic and Dragan Glogovac will begin. The defendants have been indicted for crimes in the Zavidovici area in 1992.
On Monday, February 16, the state prosecution will present its closing statement at a trial for crimes committed in the village of Trusina in April 1993. The defendants are Mensur Memic, Dzevad Salcin, Nedzad Hodzic, Nihad Bojadzic, and Senad Hakalovic.
On Thursday, February 19, the prosecution will present its closing statement at the trial of Indira Kameric, who is charged with crimes committed in the Bosanski Brod area in 1992.
A pretrial status conference in the case of Radoman Fundup will be held on Tuesday, February 17. Fundup is charged with crimes committed in the Foca area in 1992.
On Wednesday, February 18, a pretrial status conference will be held in the case of Adil Vojic and Bekir Mesic. Vojic and Mesic are charged with crimes committed in the municipality of Bihac in May 1994.
The trials of Petar Kovacevic and Slavko Savic will continue on Monday, February 16. Kovacevic is charged with crimes committed in Visegrad, and Savic is charged with crimes committed in the Vogosca area.
On Tuesday, February 17, new prosecution witnesses will be examined at the trial of Edhem Godinjak, Medaris Saric, and Mirko Bunoza. The defendants are charged with crimes committed in the Trnovo area. Ekrem Ibracevic, Faruk Smajlovic and Sejdalija Covic, are charged with crimes committed in the Srebrenik area. Muhamed Sisic, Emir Drakovac, Aziz Susa, and Tarik Sisic are charged with crimes crimes committed in the areas of Rogatica and Foca.
The trials of Oliver Krsmanovic and Bosiljko and Ostoja Markovic will continue on Tuesday. Krsmanovic is charged with with crimes committed in Visegrad. Bosiljko and Ostoja Markovic, are charged with crimes committed in Kotor-Varos.
On Wednesday, February 18, the trials of Vitomir Rackovic and Goran Popovic will continue. Both Rackovic and Popovic are charged with crimes committed in Visegrad. The trials of Mitar and Rade Vlasenko and Drago Koncar, indicted for crimes in the Prijedor area, will also continue on Wednesday.
Mirko Vrucinic is scheduled to appear before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina on Wednesday. Vrucinic is charged with crimes committed in the municipalities of Sanski Most and Prijedor in 1992.
On Thursday the first prosecution witness will be examined at the trial of six former members of the “Mice” paramilitary formation. Former members of the formation have been charged with the murder of 28 Bosniak and Croat civilians on Mount Borje in Teslic during the war. The defendants are Dragan Marjanovic, Sasa Gavranovic, Vitomir Devic, Zoran Sljuk, Dragomir Kezunovic, and Dario Slavuljica.
On Friday the following trials will continue: the trial of Ibro Macic, charged with crimes committed in Konjic; the trial of Srecko Boskovic, charged with crimes committed in Petkovci, near Zvornik; the trial of Pero Radisic, charged with crimes committed in Teslic; and the trial of Dzevad Dulic, who is charged with crimes committed in Cazin.
The retrial of Savo Babic will continue next week as well. Babic is charged with crimes committed in Bratunac in 1992.
