Witness Mujesira Opresic identified indictee Sekaric as Gorazdak at the last hearing.
Sekaric told the witness that he was sorry for what had happened to her, but that he was not the Gorazdak to whom she was referring.
“That is you, I am absolutely sure,” Opresic said.
She explained that other people called Gorazdak by that nickname.
Responding to Defence’s cross-examination questions, the witness said that Milan’s group, including Gorazdak, used to come to Haniste even prior to taking her husband away. She specified that Lukic, Gorazdak, Cubro, Bude Kovacevic and a Vojinovic used to come there.
The witness said that she saw her husband going out of the house escorted by Lukic and that Gorazdak approached her daughter and showed her something.
Dragan Sekaric, former member of the Territorial Defence, TO, and “Osvetnik” (“Avenger”) paramilitary formation, is charged with having participated in an attack on Lozje village, known as Kokino Selo, in Gorazde municipality, as well as the murders, rape and physical abuse of non-Serb civilians in Visegrad. He is charged with having committed the crimes from April 1992 and during 1993.
In 2012 the Hague Tribunal sentenced Milan Lukic to life imprisonment for crimes committed in Visegrad.
The trial is due to continue on December 8.
