The trial will begin with reading of the indictment, presentation of introductory statements and examination of the first witness.

Prosecutor Seid Marusic said that he was planning to examine 27 witnesses.
“We need 14 or 15 working days for presenting the Prosecution’s evidence. We are planning to examine two witnesses per day. (…) The Prosecution requested protection measures for six of its witnesses. The Court has approved the request. Five witnesses, who have been assigned pseudonyms, will testify in a separate room with their voices altered, while the sixth witness requested the exclusion of public,” Marusic said.
The Prosecution of BiH charges Sekaric, former member of the Territorial Defence and “Osvetnik” (“Revenger”) paramilitary formation, with having committed crimes against humanity within a widespread and systematic attack by the Republika Srpska Army, VRS, against the non-Serb population in the Gorazde and Visegrad areas.
He is charged with having committed murders, torture, rape and other inhumane acts.
“The presentation of our evidence will be dictated by the Prosecutor’s evidence presentation process,” said Borislav Jamina, Defence attorney of the indictee.

He said that the Defence would accept some of the determined facts.
