Prohibiting Measures against Seven Kotor-Varos Crimes Suspects

Savo Tepic, Dusko Vujicic, Dragoslav Bojic, Dusko Maksimovic, Radojko Keverovic, Rade Skoric and Ilija Kurusic, former police officers and managers, are suspected of having participated in expelling Bosniaks and Croats from their houses in the Kotor-Varos area and surrounding villages from May to the end of 1992.
The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina previously filed a custody order motion for Tepic and Vujicic, but the Court rejected the motion and ordered prohibiting measures, including a ban on travelling, confiscation of travel documents, a ban on meeting accomplices and an obligation to report to the competent police station every day.
As far as the five other suspects are concerned, the Court accepted the State Prosecution’s proposal to order prohibiting measures, including an obligation to report to the competent police station once a week.
As indicated in the State Court’s announcement, in case the suspects violate any of the prohibiting measures, they may be ordered into custody.
