Babic was arrested as per a warrant of the Una-Sana Prosecution, because he is suspected of committing crimes against civilians in 1992 and 1993.

SIPA issued a statement declaring that the arrest is the continuation of the action in which five other people were arrested for suspicion of taking part in the same crimes.

The arrested men are Nenad Bajic and Mladenko Vrtunic from Prijedora, Milan Lukic from Banja Luka, Slobodan Dragic and Predrag Bajic from Gradiska.

They are suspected of taking part in the killings, rapes and inhumane treatments in Humici, Vojici and Pudin Han villages in 1992 and 1993 as members of the Bosnian Serb Army.
