This was confirmed by Edina Residovic, Defence attorney of indictee Mustafa Djelilovic. The Information Section of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina “does not have the information” about the release of the indictees.

Indictees Mustafa Djelilovic, Fadil Covic, Mirsad Sabic, Nezir Kazic, Halid Covic, Serif Mesanovic, Becir Hujic and Nermin Kalember were arrested in November last year.

Residovic said that, under the decision, the indictees were ordered hand over their passports. She could not speak about any other prohibiting measures, because she had still not received a copy of the decision.

She said that the indictees were held in custody due to existence of fear that they might influence witnesses while at liberty.

The eight indictees are charged, in their capacity as representatives of civil, military and police authorities in Hadzici, with the responsibility for crimes committed in the Silos detention camp, Krupa military barracks and the 9 maj school building in the period from 1992 to 1995.
