The prosecution on Tuesday charged Tesic with committing war crimes in the Vlasenica area from May to December 1995.

Tesic, who allegedly acted in collaboration with other Bosnian Serb Army soldiers, was charged with having mentally and physically abused prisoners of war and civilians detained at an improvised prison in an auxiliary building of the municipal court in Vlasenica.

According to the charges, Tesic and other soldiers tortured, beat and abused a captured member of the Bosnian Army, Halil Becirovic, and a detained civilian, Fuad Ramic.

The indictment has been filed to the state court for confirmation.
