Prosecutor Stanko Blagic asked the trial chamber to postpone the trial as another indictment had been initiated against one of the defendants. If the court confirms the new indictment, it will be joined with the current case.

The indictment alleges that Pazin, Markovic and Kresic, former members of the Croatian Defense Council (HVO), arrested Bosniak civilians in the summer of 1993 and held them in inhumane conditions. They were allegedly accompanied by other soldiers.

According to the charges, civilians were physically and mentally mistreated during their detention and were subjected to other forms of inhumane treatment.

The trial has been postponed until March 15.
