The indictment claims that the five men participated in crimes against Croat civilians and prisoners of war in the village of Kruscica in the Vitez municipality from July to November 1993.

According to the charges, Akeljic, former commander of military police with the First Battalion of the 325th Mountain Brigade of the Bosnian Army, and Haskic, Bilal, Patkovic and Djelilovic, all former members of the battalion, took Croat detainees from the Crna Kuca detention facility in Kruscica and abused them physically and mentally.
