Ranko Dosenovic was the seventh suspect to be apprehended in a series of arrests of former members of the Bosnian Serb Army and Bosnian Serb police forces.

The other suspects are Drago Predojevic, Dragutin Vuksa, Miroslav Panic, Simo Curguz, Bosko Curguz and another man named Ranko Dosenovic. The state prosecution suspects them of participating in the torture, abuse and assault of Bosniak civilians, resulting in severe physical and mental harm.

Dosenovic was arrested today at the Gradiska border crossing. Dosenovic lives in Prijedor, but was not found at his address on Wednesday.

The state prosecution will examine Dosenovic before determining whether to request custody measures.
