The defendants are Radomir Markovic, Mile Kusic, Dragan Bozovic, Sasa Perkovic, Radomir Gluhovic, Pero Radovic, Ilija Vukasinovic and Milos Vukasinovic, all former members of the Socicka Company of the Rogaticka Brigade of the Bosnian Serb Army.
The state prosecution has charged the defendants with committing murders and pillaging the Rogatica area.
Prosecutor Seid Marusic presented evidence regarding Radomir Markovic, which indicated that he was the commander of the Socicka Unit and that the First Podrinja Infantry Brigade participated in the fighting in Rogatica.
“We are proving that there was a widespread and systematic attack on Rogatica,” Marusic said.
The defense teams objected to the evidence.
Expert Zdenko Cihlarz was expected to testify at today’s hearing, but was unable to attend due to obligations in other cases.
The trial continues on December 8.
