According to a statement released by the Bosnian state prosecution, the suspects abducted two members of the Croatian Defense Council who were detained in a post office in Skender Vakuf, which served as a detention center at the time. The prosecution alleges that the suspects took the two soldiers to the village of Borak.

“They took the two Bosnian Croat servicemen out of the vehicle with their hands tied, after which Ranko Sevarika abused one of the prisoners and killed him. When the other prisoner tried to run, he was killed by bullets shot from an automatic rifle,” the prosecution said.

After the state prosecution questions the suspects, they will decide whether to file a custody motion.
