The state prosecution claims Radakovic and Pejic, former members of police and military formations, killed five Croat civilians in the village of Tukovi in the municipality of Prijedor in mid-June 1992.

They are suspected of attacking the Ecimovic family home with automatic guns with silencers. Five civilians and two children were present.

“They entered the house and opened fire, killing five civilians, while two children managed to save themselves by running out of the house,” the state prosecution stated.

The suspects will be examined by the Bosnian state prosecution. Afterwards a decision will be made on the filing of a custody order or a motion for prohibitive measures.

Milorad Radakovic, also known as Srbo, was previously tried before the Bosnian state court for war crimes in Koricansje Stijene. In February 2013, a second instance verdict acquitted him of those charges.
