The indictment, which was confirmed on December 8, alleges that Condric took a Bosniak female from the locker room at “Polet” football stadium, where women were detained, to another room and enabled two members of the Croatian Defence Council, HVO, to rape and sexually abuse her.

“The indictee is charged with having personally participated, along with other members of a military unit, who were known to him, in those actions by sexually abusing the injured party in an extremely humiliating way after the mentioned soldiers had finished raping her,” the Prosecution announced.

The Prosecution alleges that Condric abused Serb detainees in the premises of the old Public Safety Station and prison situated in the warehouse of the “Beograd” store in Tulek on two occasions.

“He participated, in collaboration with other members of military police known to him, in the mental and physical abuse of a detained Serb civilian, tortured him and treated him in an inhumane manner,” the announcement says.

The Prosecution alleges that Condric committed those crimes as member of the 101st Bosanskobrodska Brigade of HVO in the summer of 1992.

Condric was arrested on November 12. Following his arrest, the Court ordered him into custody due to a danger that he might flee and a possibility that he might influence witnesses.

The trial in this case is due to begin in the coming period.
