The indictee pleaded not guilty to the charges contained in the State Prosecution’s indictment, which was confirmed at the beginning of September this year.
 
Mujkic, a former member of the 102nd Brigade of the Croatian Defence Council, HVO, is charged with having participated in murders and inhumane treatment of detainees in the elementary school building in Odzak and Novi Grad, Odzak municipality.
 
The State Prosecution charges Mujkic with having participated in the inhumane treatment, brutal beating, torture, intentional causing of severe physical and mental pain and suffering, which resulted in the death of two victims, who died due to the consequences of the abuse and beating.
 
Mujkic’s trial is due to begin in the upcoming period.
