Sekaric’s Trial Behind Closed Doors

The trial of Dragan Sekaric, who is charged with crimes in Visegrad and Gorazde, continued with the testimony of a prosecution witness in a closed session.

Prosecutor Seid Marusic said that protected witness S4 asked that the public be totally removed from the courtroom during his testimony.

Sekaric, former member of the Territorial Defence and “Osvetnik” (“Avenger”) paramilitary formation, is charged with having participated in an attack on Lozje village, Gorazde municipality, as well as the murders, rape and physical abuse of non-Serb civilians in Visegrad.   

According to the official schedule of hearings held before the State Court, the continuation of Sekaric’s trial is scheduled for October 13.
