Zelenika, former member of the Croatian Defence Council, HVO, is charged with having participated in the abuse of detainees in November 1993.

On August 1 this year the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, BiH, rejected an indictment filed by the State Prosecution, saying that the evidence accompanying the indictment did not indicate that there existed a grounded suspicion that Zelenika committed the crime described in the indictment and that the investigation should be continued.

After that the State Prosecution filed a new indictment.

Zelenika is on trial, along with Srecko Herceg, Edib Buljubasic, Ivan Medic and Marina Grubisic-Fejzic, in another case for having committed crimes in Dretelj detention camp.
