Trial Chamber Chairwoman Mira Smajlovic said that the Chamber had received the doctor’s findings and Babic’s written statement, indicating that he was not able to appear at the hearing due to health problems.

Indictee Velemir Djuric’s Defence witnesses were originally supposed to testify at this hearing.

Babic, Djuric and Dragomir Soldat are on trial for crimes in Carakovo village. The three indictees are charged with having participated in the shooting of men in front of a local mosque on July 23, 1992.
