The Bosnian state court announced that the custody remand order for Dzelko has been extended until March 2022, while the custody orders for suspects Hamza Labidi, Milarem Berbic, Muharem Dunic and Emir Alisic have been extended until May or June 2020.
The state prosecution requested extensions because of the risk that the men might abscond or repeat the crime, or that their release might unsettle the general public.
The court previously confirmed indictments charging Dzelko, Jasmin Keserovic and Senad Kasupovic with organsing a terrorist group and fighting in Syria. Keserovic has also been charged with publicly inciting terrorist activities.
Investigations into Labidi, Berbic, Alisic and Dunic are still underway.
All of them were flown back from Syria to Bosnia and Herzegovina in December 2019.
