Alesevic is a former member of military police with the 505th Brigade of the Fifth Corps of the Bosnian Army, and is suspected of having mistreated prisoners held at the Radoc Hotel in Buzim.

Alesevic will be handed over to the Bosnian state prosecution, which will examine him and decide whether to file a custody order motion.

The state prosecution suspects that eight other former members of the Fifth Corps of the Bosnian Army, namely Zijad Nanic, Esad Kudelic, Nedzad Bapic, Senad Salkic, Samir Isakovic, Hasan Mustafic, Husein Isakovic and Vehid Bajraktarevic, also committed war crimes in Buzim.
