Blagoje Vlacic Arrested

Bosnian police arrested former Bosnian Serb fighter Blagoje Vlacic, who is suspected of war crimes committed in Sekovici during the 1992-95 conflict.

Police officers from Bosnia’s State Investigation and Protection Agency detained Blagoje Vlacic, a former military policemen with the Bosnian Serb Army, who is suspected of killing three Bosniak civilians in May 1993 at the Lovac restaurant in Sekovici, which was used as a temporarily detention facility, and of abusing other prisoners.

Prosecutors will decide whether to ask that Vlacic be remanded in custody after they interrogate him
