Verdicts for Crimes in Sanski Most and Srebrenica Due Next Week

The pronouncement of the verdict against Prosic, who is charged with persecution and murder of eight civilians in Sanski Most on May 27, 1992, is scheduled for Wednesday, June 12.
Following the completion of the retrial, the Appellate Chamber of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina will pronounce a verdict against Momir Pelemis, who is charged with genocide in Srebrenica, on Thursday, June 13. Under a first instance verdict, Pelemis was sentenced to 16 years in prison. The verdict was quashed and a retrial ordered.
Appeals against a verdict, under which Eso Macic was sentenced to 15 years in prison, will be presented before the Appellate Chamber next week. Macic was sentenced for having killed and beaten detainees in Celebici detention camp, near Konjic, in 1992.
A guilt admission agreement with Radoslav Knezevic is due to be considered on Monday, June 10. Knezevic reached the agreement with the Prosecution after having been sentenced to 23 years in prison at the end of the first instance trial.
On Monday, June 10 the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina is due to present its closing statement at the trial of Goran Saric. He is charged with crimes committed in the Sarajevo area in 1992.
On Friday, June 14 a pre-trial status conference is due to be held in the case against Osman Brkan and Ibro Macic, who are charged with crimes in Konjic municipality.
The Defence of Zeljko Jukic, who is indicted for crimes in Prozor, is due to begin presenting its evidence on Thursday.
The Defence of Milun Kornjaca, who is on trial for crimes in Cajnice, is planning to examine Milorad Zivkovic on Wednesday.
Zivkovic was sentenced, under a first instance verdict, to six years in prison for crimes committed in Cajnice in 1992.
On Monday the trials are due to continue in the case against Mensur Memic, Dzevad Salcin, Senad Hakalovic, Nedzad Hodzic, Nihad Bojadzic and Zulfikar Alispago, who are charged with crimes in Trusina village, and Savo Babic for crimes in Bratunac.
The continuation of the trials of Ivan Zelenika, Srecko Herceg, Edib Buljubasic, Ivan Medic and Marina Grubisic-Fejzic, who are charged with crimes in Dretelj prison, near Capljina, and Oliver Krsmanovic, who is indicted for crimes in Visegrad, is scheduled for Tuesday, June 11.
On that same day the trials are due to continue in the case against Predrag Milisavljevic, Milos Pantelic and Ljubomir Tasic for crimes in Visegrad, and Najdan Mladjenovic and Savo Zivkovic, who are charged with crimes in Bratunac. The trial of Fikret Planincic, Rasim Lisancic, Sead Menzil and Mirsad Vatrac for crimes in Kotor-Varos continues on Tuesday as well.
On Wednesday the trials are due to continue in the case against Branko Vlaco for crimes in Vogosca, Veselko and Ivo Raguz, who is charged with crimes in Stolac and Capljina, and Zemir Kovacevic, who is indicted for crimes in Bosanski Brod.
The trial of Mustafa Djelilovic, Fadil Covic, Mirsad Sabic, Nezir Kazic, Becir Hujic, Halid Covic, Serif Mesanovic and Nermin Kalember, who are charged with crimes in the Hadzici area, is due to continue on Thursday, as is the trial of Nihad Bojadzic for crimes in Jablanica.
On Friday the trials are due to continue in the case against Zoran Marinic and Zoran Milic, who are charged with crimes in Busovaca, Ramiz Avdovic and Iulian-Nicolae Vintila for crimes in Sarajevo, and Dragomir Soldat, Velemir Djuric and Zoran Babic, who are on trial for crimes in Prijedor.
In the week ahead retrials are due to continue before the Appellate Chamber of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the case against Nisvet Gasal, Musajb Kukavica and Senad Dautovic, who are charged with crimes in Bugojno, Milan Peric, Spasoje Doder, Predrag Terzic and Aleksandar Cerovina for crimes in Kalinovik, as well as Marko Adamovic and Bosko Lukic, who are charged with crimes in Kljuc municipality.
