Assistant US Prosecutor Mythili Raman says that Mujagic’s extradition is the result of close co-operation between the authorities of the United States and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Mujagic was arrested in Utica city in November last year. He is suspected of having killed a prisoner and abused another one in the Krajina region in March 1995.

At that time he was member of the National Defence of the Western Bosnia Autonomous Region.

The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina previously announced that it had referred the case against Mujagic to the Cantonal Prosecution in Bihac.
